The Charles Sturt University Winery is an integral part of Australia's leading wine science school and is at the forefront of viticultural practices and wine making techniques.
The winery focuses on excellence, using state of the art technology without sacrificing tradition. We are a professionally run winery reflecting the commercial environment of the Australian wine industry, being market driven and producing the quality and styles of wine that obtain ready acceptance from wine consumers in the market.
We have two Cellars Doors where you can taste the full range of Charles Sturt University Wines.
Come and visit our Cellar Door in Wagga Wagga for tasting and sales of our premium sparkling, table and fortified wines, other selected regional produce and extra virgin olive oil from one of the oldest olive groves in Australia! The Wagga Cellar Door is open 7 days.
The new Cellar Door on our campus in Orange is now open. The Cellar Door is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11am - 4pm and is located adjacent to our Chardonnay vineyard in the heart of the campus.

The winery is rated 41/2 stars in 2013 James Halliday Wine Companion, was a finalist in the Tourism Winery Category of the 2009 Inland NSW Tourism Awards and was the Winner in 2010 for the category of Tourism Wineries, Distilleries & Boutique Breweries.
The winery focuses on the range of premium table, fortified and sparkling wines produced from grapes grown in our own vineyards on both the Orange and Wagga Wagga campuses. The winery also sources grapes from the wine-growing regions in close proximity including the Hilltops region around Young, Tumbarumba in the Snowy Mountains and Gundagai, just to the east of Wagga.
Since its inception in 1977 our wines have been awarded over 28 trophies, 99 gold, 188 silver and 500 bronze medals in National Wine Shows.
