Wine making Notes

This Chardonnay was produced from handpicked grapes from a single vineyard  in the cool climate Tumbarumba region. The wine was barrel fermented at 16⁰C and sulfured to prevent malolactic fermentation. Some lees stirring was performed to increase texture and matured in aged French oak for 8 months. No fining and minimal filtration.

Tasting notes

The wine has a brilliant pale straw appearance. Fresh grapefruit and lemon pith with a hint of apple, honeydew melon and macadamia nut character. The palate is a mixture of citrus and white stone fruit with a lively acidity and slight waxy texture that is supported by nuttiness from subtle oak.

Serve at 9⁰C.
