Winemaking Notes
The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine were handpicked from a single vineyard in the Hilltops region. Partial wild fermentation and extended maceration of 35 days was followed by maturation in old oak puncheons. No filtration or fining.
Tasting Notes
This wine is medium brick-red with a slight perfumed bouquet that contains an intriguing mix of red cherries, spice, slight mintiness, and a touch of forest floor. Palate is initially quite fleshy and fruit length is accompanied by plentiful fine silky tannins.
