2016 Hilltops Nebbiolo
Winemaking Notes: The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine were handpicked from a single vineyard in the Hilltops region. Partial wild fermentation and extended maceration of 35 days was followed by maturation in old oak puncheons. No filtration or fining.
Tasting Notes: This wine is medium brick-red with a perfumed bouquet that contains an intriguing mix of cherries, spice, slight mintiness, tar and a touch of forest floor. Palate is initially quite fleshy and fruit length is accompanied by plentiful fine silky tannins.
Decant and serve at 17⁰C.
