2016 Riverina Tempranillo
Wine making Notes: The grapes for this wine were hand harvested from a local grower in Oura, 15 minutes from the Wagga Wagga campus cellar door. The fruit was wild fermented and aged in a mix of French and American oak with lees stirring for 12 months. No fining or filtration
Tasting Notes: This Tempranillo has a bright crimson-red colour and an attractive aroma of plums, strawberries, ripe raspberries and a hint of vanilla. Characteristic herbal and savoury palate attributes are balanced by abundant fruit, appealing soft tannins and satisfying length.
