2016 Riverina Tempranillo Rose'
Wine making Notes: Tempranillo grapes were hand harvested early morning and cooled to 5 degrees overnight. The fruit was de-stemmed and crushed into the press and left for 6 hours on skins to increase colour, complexity and texture. The juice was 100% wild fermented in stainless steel tank for 40 days. No fining and minimal filtration.
Tasting Notes: Tempranillo was used to produce this brilliant, pale, salmon-coloured Rosé. A surprising mixture of fruit flavours such as strawberry and watermelon present themselves alongside herbal and savoury notes. Supple palate is flavoursome and refreshing.
