On the 19th of February, the Victory Memorial Gardens hosted the Wagga Wagga's 2022 Food & Wine Festival. Wine stalls were positioned by the lagoon, with beer stalls just across the park. Several food vans lined the streets and live music enthralled crowds from the park's outdoor stage. The heat still persisted on this late summer afternoon, but boutique wine and beer from surrounding areas effectively cooled the crowds
